Seen / Heard is inviting people with lived experience of homelessness to share their life stories with us and relay them to the world. We’ve created a company and are building a performance. Through a series of workshops, we’re offering everyone involved a space to play, sing, write, dance, laugh, tell stories, and get to know each other. Workshops take place in Truro and will culminate in a unique performance event.
From the workshops that have taken place so far, it is clear that we are creating a performance that will be tender and rambunctious, delicious, curious and honest. It will involve a sharing of a ‘meal’, moments of beauty, a menu of stories, a difficult choice or two, and extra helpings of rhythm and song.
The rest is yet to reveal itself.
Anyone can be involved and help in the revelations. The door is open and there’s a place for you at the table.
