New Trustees Join the Wildworks Board

Two brilliant people have joined the Wildworks board of trustees, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome them.

Amaya Jeyarajah Dent is a producer, programmer and artistic director, currently co-leading LIFT in London and known for creating unforgettable, experimental work in unexpected places. From giant puppets walking across continents to sensory tech installations in the Tower of London, her practice champions underrepresented artists and wild imagination.

“I am chuffed to be joining Wildworks board – I’m inspired by their appetite for creating unforgettable culture in the landscape and taking artistic risks out in the elements.  This is the stuff that gets me really excited – theatre shows on old car race tracks and on blustery beaches – it’s why I do what I do. I’m really happy to join the organisation at this moment of new leadership and look forward to supporting this capable team on the journey ahead.” – Amaya

Rebecca Whitman brings her deep knowledge of sustainability and events to the Wildworks board. With an MSc in Sustainable Development and hands-on experience from COP28 to B Corp accreditation, she helps shape a greener future for the creative industries.

As a freelancer, Rebecca plays a key role in managing major accounts for The Bulb (part of the Trivandi Group), an award-winning event sustainability consultancy. Recent highlights include leading the development and launch of the global sustainability strategy for Jack Morton and providing technical sustainability assurance for COP28 UAE, contributing to the successful attainment of ISO 20121 certification for the event.

“A real pleasure to be invited to play a part in the Wildworks ecosystem and support such a wonderful organisation on their sustainability journey.” – Rebecca

Together, Rebecca and Amaya bring energy, wisdom, and a shared love for brave ideas. They join our current board members David Prior (Chair), Fran Branfield, Mikey Martins, James Chapman and Ellie Woolman. Join us in giving them a warm Wildworks welcome.
