Newquay Treviglas Academy
As part of WE ARE SHINING, students from Newquay Treviglas Academy joined Wildworks for the HELLO STRANGER project, delving into the shifting boundaries between home and the unknown. On July 1st, their journey culminated in I AM STRANGER, a performance incorporating dance, spoken word, movement and music at Lusty Glaze Beach. In a setting where sea meets sand and stories ripple through the air, the students shared their exploration of what ‘home’ and ‘stranger’ mean to Newquay, a place defined by the stories of those who’ve arrived and departed over centuries.
Families gathered to experience young voices share stories shaped by waves of strangers who have touched Newquay’s shores.
