Hello Stranger’ is a comprehensive community engagement program that spans towns, schools, and diverse communities across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Our outreach is extensive, encompassing collaborations with St Petrocs and individuals experiencing homelessness, working with disadvantaged and marginalised young people, involving Death Cafés and people experiencing loss, engaging with refugee communities, connecting with people living with disabilities, building relationships with the WI, and reaching out to individuals in the hospitality and farming sectors. Everyone is invited!
As part of the initiative, we’ve established partnerships with Cornwall schools. This involves conducting one-day theatre workshops in ten secondary schools, where we introduce our innovative approaches to theatre in the landscape. Additionally, we are intensively creating work with five schools and their local communities.
